Tannya Quayle - “The Art of Broken Hill: Traditional to Contemporary” group exhibition at Parliament House

Tannya is a  Barkindji/ Malyangnapa Ngnugu.  

“My work is inspired by my Elders and of my Custodial Kiira (Country) that I live. I have always loved to draw and now I am supported by friends and family to create and my love for art is through lino printing.  
 
I do my printing all by hand. When I am working I feel connected to my Ancestors and my Kiira. I have been involved in Workshops, Markets, Festivals and have been asked to be involved in an Exhibition to be held in Sydney later this year.”
