Weaving Workshop Menindee

Menindee will be hosting an Indigenous Weaving Workshop next Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th with Maliangappa - Paakantji artist/weaver, Clair Bates. Clair is a highly respected weaver who travels widely teaching and promoting her culture. A number of techniques will be shown. All welcome to this free event which will include all materials and lunch. The Workshop will be held from 10am-3pm on both days at the Menindee Local Aboriginal Lands Council, which is two doors up from the Visitor Information Centre.
