2Dry FM 107.7 community radio
West Darling Arts popped into 2Dry FM 107.7, Broken Hill's community radio station, during the week and had a chat with Meagan Williams, the station's Manager about the tsunami wave of energy the station is attracting.
The station has been successful in attracting Foundation Of Rural and Regional (FRRR) funding of $30,000 to update the studio space to make it more functional, and even more importantly, will install equipment to broadcast vinyl! Recently, the South Australian Community Broadcasters Association - SACBA recognised a number of 2dry programs with Bilby Awards! The programs included the excellent Out in the Outback, Water Watch and Max, for runner up in the Youth Contribution Category.
A big congratulations to all the volunteers and the Manager, Meagan Williams.
