Go Pro (in the arts!)
West Darling Arts invites artists who are looking to develop their creative businesses and commercialise their practice to join a 12-week in-person group mentorship program. This opportunity is aimed at local artists and makers interested in participating in markets, improving their self-marketing skills, or developing products for sale. The program will focus on building capacity and opening up new opportunities.
Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will engage in a series of practical workshops facilitated by West Darling Arts, expert advice sessions hosted by Creative Plus Business, and hear from artists who have successfully transformed their artistic practice into thriving businesses. The program is designed to foster a peer-to-peer network and provide participants with the skills, confidence, and tools to commercialise their creative practices and build sustainable careers in the arts.
The program will take place in Broken Hill, at the West Darling Arts office on Blende Street. Participants must be available to attend the majority of sessions.
